One photo per day. Every day. That's the idea. Part photo-documentary, part vanity project, part allowing my mother to check in daily and see that I'm eating properly.
Updates below, photos to the right. It's all pretty self-evident. So. Pull up a chair, make yourself a nice cup of tea, prepare to get your daily fix of voyeurism. Enjoy your stay.
It would be REALLY NICE to see a picture of you smiling
Do it again and SMILE this time :)
Both questions contain emphasising capitals: mere coincidence? Our hardened specialists believe not. The closest you’ll get to a smile here is a slight smirk, folks – mainly because, as variables go, smiles are pretty variable. And it’s all about the variables.
December 7th – flapper costume? Or just new style for the day...
Je trouve celle du 7 décembre vraiment bien, pour quelle occasion t'étais-tu habillée ainsi??
As you can see, we’re very cosmopolitan over here at clickflashwhirr. December 7th, for the eagle-eyed amongst you, was one of the three nights on which I performed in a play set in the 1920s, hence the blip on the daily photo radar.
Did she have freckles for a split second?!
As above, only it was school disco night. It’s just something we students do.
Erm...you said you're 19 yet you were at a school disco?
Your dedication to the pursuit of the facts to the point of pedantry impresses me. However, the fact that I had large freckles on my face for one night does not automatically implicate me as a participant in compulsory education.
Do you always take your pictures at the same time of the day? Or is it something you do when you have time?
It’s mainly a case of when I find the time, have my camera to hand, etc. The discrepancies between the quality of the light from day to day is evidence of this – it seems that artificial light lends me a hue that can, at best, be described as ‘tangerine’. In natural light, I appear severely anaemic. How we suffer for our art.
How long were you planning on making this? As long as you possibly can?
Something like that. You do these silly things when you’re young.
Below are just a few, along with some (variably helpful) answers:
